Out of all the umpteen square yards of ever so slightly misaligned dot screen papering Newsie’s newsstand Pepperpot plucks her most prized repository of taste and restraint, the Spicy Gumshoe all-out, overblown, Chinatown Tong War Summer Special, the first and last pulp magazine cover illustration I’ll ever do.
And to think I only overshot the deadline by about eighty-five years.
