We swamped out the storage locker and found it!

Cast your thoughts back, my darlings. As the summer of 2016 wound down, in the page 89 comments I maundered on at length about the derelict plein air treasure trove that once lay south of Market Street before San Francisco resolved to tart the place up with contractor grade stucco condominiums and Jenga-looking office parks… referring in particular to Claudia’s fave, an idling locomotive painted long, long, long ago at the weedy edge of the rusty tangle of the Southern Pacific yard by Third and Townsend.

I got in, got out, didn’t get arrested and came away with this:
