09/16/2019I love editors. I think any writer (or artist) who refuses to let an editor take a crack at tightening up their work is making a grave error. Having said that it saddens me that in opposition to every editor on Earth I enjoy writing word salad dialog like, “Looking up? Like UP up? As in looking up at US up?”I like soliloquies, too, mostly delivered in run-on sentences, also a reliable early warning of an incoming rejection slip. It’s a little sad, but only a little. |
